Research Associate awarded Rising Star award

Charles Antony, PhD, Research Associate, is awarded the Rising Star Award from the CHOP Research Institute Normal and Malignant Hematopoiesis Research Affinity Group for his Molecular Cell publication on the regulation of rRNA transcription in myeloid progenitors.

Hematology-Oncology fellow awarded fellowship award

Putzer Hung, MD/PhD, Hematology-Oncology fellow, is awarded the 2024 Marlene Shlomchik Fellowship in Cancer Research from the University of Pennsylvania Abramson Cancer Cancer to study rRNA transcription and the rDNA-associated proteome in leukemia.

Grant from the Abramson Cancer Center

The Paralkar Lab is awarded a Pilot Research Grant by the Abramson Cancer Center to model AML evolution from germline Runx1 mutations. This grant is in collaboration with the laboratory of Nancy Speck, Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.
